It is very important that written comments be submitted to the Main Post SEIS. These comments become part of the public record and the Presidio Trust is required to address every comment as part of the SEIS process. They will release an appendix to the SEIS that contains these responses. Under the NEPA law, legal action can be pursued if concerns raised by the public are not adequately addressed in this appendix. Thus public comments are an essential to ensure that all potential impacts of the proposed project are considered.
